All Things Aveda

So, it's true that since starting my job at an Aveda salon last August I've become a major fanatic for the products!

There are just a few reasons why I love working with the products that I do: for one, the company is incredibly environmentally conscious. How many companies that manufacture thousands of products annually do you know of are completely carbon-neutral? That's right... the Aveda factories in Minnesota are 100% wind powered. All of Aveda's skin care products are 100% paraben free (no cancer-causing preservatives or fillers). And this year, for their special Christmas gift packages they sponsored a community in Columbia by purchasing 400 acres of rainforest for preservation. They also worked with hundreds of female artisans to create bracelets from palm nuts (hand carved, so cute, and icluded in every gift set you purchase!)

For the next 2 months at my salon we'll be selling some awesome gift sets (for information about them check out Aveda.com or come on in to the spa!) They make great stocking stuffers and you can find some great gifts for cheap (Rosemary mint shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for $11!)

Since Christmas is really all about giving, what better way than to purchase amazing products for cheap, helping sponsor rainforest preservation and a beautiful culture all at the same time!

The link attached below is the video of all the female artisans of Columbia, hard at work making beautiful products for Aveda. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!
